Paris | Photo diaries
Dear Reader,
I lived in Paris for two months, collecting photographs on my daily “photography walks.” I went out every day for about two hours, Monday through Friday. I found solace in these walks so much was happening around me, yet my camera made everything quiet.
I stayed atop the hills of Montmartre. Lugging my gear up the iconic stairs wasn’t easy, but it was well worth it. While I mostly explored Montmartre and the surrounding arrondissements, I still managed to cover a fair share of the city. I completely fell in love with every detail from lampposts to windowsills, everything felt like eye candy.
All my photographs are candid. I aimed to capture genuine reactions and interactions, real moments of connection. Every image in this collection was taken during the spring of 2025. No staging, no artificial lighting just as it was. I used Lightroom only to adjust colors and white balance.
Petit Paris
Paris burned gold
I noticed everything. I watched and I listened. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. Through these photographs, I wanted to show you mine.
These experiences shaped my mind. I hoped to use my lens as an extension of my eyes and through editing, reflect how the presence felt, not just how it looked.
